Hello everyone! I totally forgot about Xanga, but I'm back now. Let's see, what's new...hmm....well, my sister got married a few weeks ago. It was so beautiful. The wedding was on a yacht. It rained the day before and the day after, but the day of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous! I gave a toast and cried like a baby...good times. I have been out of school for like six weeks now and still haven't been able to get a job, this is crazy! So I'm going out of my mind with nothing to do...that's my life.

Happy Easter everyone! So does anybody still do Xanga? I kind of forgot about it. Well...for anybody that still reads, here's an update on the life of Bethanie...My family finally got a new house (a miracle from God!), so we've been in the process of moving for the past few weeks. It's exciting and tiring at the same time. And last week, Mary and Darla came to visit us! We had lots of fun being tourists and hanging out. Let's see...anything else? there are only 2 weeks left of school for me and I have like three major projects due that I haven't even started, so I'm going to have a nervous breakdown in case anyone comes looking for me. Well, I guess that's all.

I am sad today.  I'm losing my buddy, Winston.  Winston is the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever had.  He's also very large and not too bright.  For the past couple of months he has been jumping over our fence and disturbing the neighbors (he even bit one of them, thank God they didn't sue!), and no matter what we do, he still runs away.  So my parents decided to take him to an Airedale terrier rescue shelter, where they will find him a good home with high fences and lots of room to run and play.  I'm going to miss him.

So the new haircut is awesome!  I don't have a picture yet, but I'll get one soon.  Anyway, I'm teaching a missions class at my church, and we had the first one on Monday.  I was so nervous and didn't really know what I was going to talk about, but it went really well.  Just thought I'd share that with whoever actually reads my xanga.  I'm also going to Africa this summer for three whole months!  Hopefully it will be Zimbabwe (still working on that), but if not I will go to Ghana.  I'm so excited!

I've been trying to grow my hair out since August, but it doesn't seem to want to grow.  My sister gave me a trim a few weeks ago, and let's just say it doesn't look professional, so I decided just to cut it.  There's a slight problem, though, my usual hairstylist was in Costa Rica for a few months, and I just heard she's moving to a new salon that is VERY expensive.  I was getting kind of sad about the whole situation when...my sister said that Angeline (our stylist) is interviewing for this new salon and needs "hair models" for the interview.  So she is going to cut my hair for free!  I am very excited.  I'll post a picture of the new cut after I get it done.  That's all for now.
